Carrie Stibbard first met Katie at a Kestrel Christmas Party where Mark and Carrie both worked. That was almost 5 years ago. It wasn't until about a year and a half ago, when they really started to get know each other and become best friends. Carrie has been there for Katie through many important times, both good and bad. Carrie is an incredibly loving and caring individual and one of the kindest people anyone could ever know. Katie feels so lucky to have Carrie here with her on this incredibly special day!

Trish Mireau is Katie's cousin. It's funny, when Katie was younger and would stay over at Trish and Jenn's house, Trish thought that Katie was so annoying. However, as Katie got older (and a bit more mature) a bond started to grow between them. Trish lived with Katie at their Grandma's house for a short while and they would go on long walks together just talking and really getting to know one another. Trish moved to Ontario shortly after that, but when she moved back west a few years later, they ended up being roommates again. Katie is honored that Trish is one of her Bridesmaids.

Jenn Mireau is Katie's cousin and they really got to know each other when Katie was 11 and moved to British Columbia to live with their Grandma. Jenn only lived an hour away and quite often Katie would go to Kimberley to visit Jenn for a weekend or else Jenn would go and visit Katie. They would laugh together and do all kinds of crazy things. As they both got older, they started taking road trips to various places with Jenn's Mom and step-Dad, Mike. Those trips are some of Katie's best memories. They later moved on to be roommates together in Calgary for 2 years. Katie has been through so much with Jenn and loves her dearly. When Katie started planning her wedding, it was just a given that she wanted Jenn to be a part of it.

Souk Oun and I have known each other for about eight years. We met in University and also worked together in the past. At one point, we went to classes together three days a week and worked together the other four days. We have remained on similar career and personal paths ever since. Even though we have our busy work lives, we always find time to hang out and have fun. Souk is a caring individual who is always there to listen and lend a helping hand. Souk has always been a good friend and will always be a part of our lives. I can't imagine anyone more suited to be my Best Man.

Thomas Flury is my middle brother, who is four years younger than me. He enjoys skiing, skating, and most recently, snowmobiling. Thomas just purchased a new truck so now he can take trips to Calgary in the summer to visit. Thomas and I have had some crazy adventures, like the time he took me snowmobiling for the first time! Whenever we get the chance to get together we have a great time. Thomas is a wonderful person with a great personality and sense of humor. Even though we are a province apart, we share a brotherly bond that will never be broken. I look forward to having Thomas in my wedding party and can't wait to share the big day with him.

Alexander Flury is my youngest brother and we have a close relationship. We enjoy skiing in the winter and golfing in the summer. And in between, we find time for crazy things like building and then racing wooden go-karts down a steep hill at sixty kilometers an hour! When we get in front of a PlayStation or Xbox, we become inseparable, and play for hours and hours! Alexander also just purchased a new vehicle, coincidentally, the exact same car as Katie - a 2002 yellow Sunfire. Alexander is just finishing up grade 11. Although he is unsure what he will do after high school, he has a bright future ahead of him. Alexander will always be a big part of our lives and I am grateful that he is one of my Groomsmen.

Alyssa Flury is our beautiful little baby girl. She was born on June 8, 2007 and that day changed both of our lives. Alyssa has brought so much joy, love, and happiness to our lives, it's unbelievable. She is the happiest baby you'll ever see and is an incredibly social little girl. Alyssa has definitely brought us closer together and fills our hearts with love. Getting to have Alyssa as part of our wedding is such an amazing and wonderful blessing. We love you sweetheart.

Brooklynn Oun is Souk and Carrie's wonderful little girl. She was born on May 1, 2006 and right away brought so much joy to this world. Brooklynn is Alyssa's best friend and they love to play with each other. She is such a cutie that will bring a smile to anyone's face. We love you Brooklynn.
